He is a specialist in Sports Specific Training, Physique Makeovers, and Youth Fitness. That is why he the Strength Coach here at Lloyd Irvin’s. Personal trainers can really help you improve and reach any goal that you are trying to achieve. You need the proper instruction and a workout that fits your needs. Anyone can watch a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu technique, or Wrestling take down on youtube, or a DVD. But you will not fully understand the technique, unless someone is guiding, or teaching it to you personally. Especially with jiu-jitsu, somethings look so simple, but if you don’t have the correct amount of pressure, the right angle, it could be all wrong. Technique also applies with weightlifting, if you do it incorrectly, you can definitely injure yourself.
With any workout that you do, the most important thing is Safety First. While working out, make sure you have the proper equipment. Many set backs occur because people don’t have the proper equipment. Warming up, making sure you are hydrated, keep water close by, listening to your body, resting, and recovering. Make sure and take this in to consideration.
