New York Abu Dhabi trials results.     

At the New York Abu Dhabi pro trials, a contingent of TLI’s finest blue and purple belts headed north to go claim their tickets to the Abu Dhabi pro trials. At blue belt Pere’ Briggs submitted all of his opponents in the heavy absolute and makes a triumphant return to the Abu Dhabi pro for the second time!Blue belt light weight, Michael Anthony Perez Made his Team Lloyd Irvin tournament debut with flying colors Winning 9 matches in total to claim his Golden ticket to Abu Dhabi! And Purple belt Ace Tim Spriggs Wrecked the competition to secure his spot on the war wagon of TLI competitors head to abu dhabi in april! AAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!  Not to mention TLI won the team title at the New York trials to bring home the 1st place cup!

The team now has 8 fighters flying to abu dhabi, JT Torres-Jimmy JAH-DJ Jackson-Tim Spriggs-Keenan The Cobra-Sarj In Charge-Pere Briggs- Mike Perez

DJ jackson Who had already earned his trip package at the canada trials put on a very impressive showing at the New York trials, winning his first match by cross choke and in his second match ( dj wins by 8 points) dj shows us how to properly execute a SNAP DOWN! See for your self!

In his third match DJ fought World champion Lucas Leite and used what has become  known as “jiu-jitsu’s most powerful whizzer” to neutralize Leite’s famous half guard sweep and fought a very close match but lost by penalty point for performing now illegal “face mush” part one and part two can be seen here.
