Lloyd Irvin‘s Mixed Martial Arts is closed for the day.
Today marks Day 12 of the Push Up Challenge that I am in, and I knocked them out right before training with the MMA guys this morning. Getting them done earlier in the day is always better, I find myself rushing when I wait until the evening. Before we do the push ups, just to confirm that it is the correct day, we have to film some sort of news, so I always go to cnn.com. Always to find, only updates on the earthquake that happened in Haiti. It’s such a tragedy and I really feel for all of the people living there.
Master Lloyd is out of town, but that doesn’t mean the training stops. The MMA guys consisted of Mike Fowler, Ron Stallings, Mike Easton, DJ Jackson, JC Cuffee, Frank Camacho, Timothy Woods, and Jose Villarisco. Mike Fowler and I did some BJJ rounds in the gi while the other guys drilled take downs. After that was done, we did several rounds of no gi. The guys are fighting in the upcoming Gameness Fighting Championships on Feb. 20th. Stay tuned….
