Frank “The Crank” Camacho, DJ Jackson, Sijara Eubanks, Jeremy West, Jim Harbison, Lenny Maggio Andris head out on a road trip to the state of Connecticut!  They will be competing in Grappler’s Quest this weekend!  With Dustin Denes, and The Mendes Brothers here over the last couple of weeks, I am excited to hear about the techniques they apply during their matches.  Best wishes to the guys out in Connecticut!

And traveling down South, way South again to Brazil!!! We have our teammates from Crazy 88( Tye Murphy) and Third Law BJJ(Roberto Torralbas) competing in the Rio OPEN!!!  All of these tournaments are preparation for the 2011 BJJ World Championships.

Tye Ryan, bjj blue belt had 2 matches, first match he ended with a choke.  Then during his second match, he caught his opponent with another choke placing him in the quarter finals.  In his 2rd match he ended up losing by points. It’s another learning experience.

Roberto Torralbas, purple belt and Instructor down in Florida at Third Law BJJ took 3rd overall in his division.  Tomorrow he has the Open!  More Results to come!
