Willie Leonard, Lloyd Irvin blue belt is out in Abu Dhabi representing what we do!

He had 3 matches that solidified his spot in the finals tomorrow, the winner’s of each division is given money.  Today Willie did the open division and lost to a local Judo Black Belt by ref decision.  Before fighting the judoka, Willie had 4 matches in his bracket, the absolute division was stacked!

The girls are also getting a run for their money!  BJJ brown belt Gabi Garcia from Alliance fought the 2009 Mundials Champion – Women’s Brown/Black, Absolute and made it through and will now have to face Luzia Fernandes.  Black Belt Luanna Alzuguir will be fighting Beatriz Mesquite.  These 2 fought not to long ago in the Brazilian Qualifiers in Gramado.  That match ended with Beatriz as the Champion, tomorrow we will see what will happens….
